Atlanta gets the smack-down

A federal district court judge recently ruled that all withdrawls by Atlanta from Lake Lanier were illegal and must stop within three year.  As the lake is the main water supply for the city, it will be interesting how this is handled.  It is possible that Congress would allow the city (and other non-hydropower users in Georgia) to continue usage, but I am not sure the probability of such legislation passing.
